A Thrilling Benefit

By Lookout Staff

July 3 -- More than 200 kids from the Police Activities League (PAL) benefited last week from a night of free rides at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier.

While the kids were enjoying the 12 exciting amusement park rides and 21 fun and challenging midway games, their families, friends and guests took part in raising funds through the proceeds of event tickets for the 2nd Annual PALpalooza benefit Wednesday.

The event co-sponsored by Pacific Park and the Santa Monica Police Activities League raised funds for PAL’s community youth programs, which assist more than 1,600 kids in the Santa Monica area.
