"Due to the evidence recovered and information gathered, detectives arrested the primary person of the investigation," he said.

The arrest stemmed from an investigation originating in the beach city, police said.

Radford was booked for possession of narcotics for sale and possession of narcotics with a loaded firearm.

He also was booked for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and for receiving stolen property, police said.

Detectives will present the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration.
